i drove up to sw mo. and fished roaring river over the weekend- water was high and clear running quite fast- had good luck on midges then the heat came and they went down - i tuned down to 20 and 22 nymphs but they werent onto it like the midge earlier.
i pumped a couple fish i caught shortly after lunch and they were on a small worm orange in color i have yet to find out what it was- i clipped a san juan worm down to size and the bite was back on.
have any of you seen what im talkin about? 3/4 inch long like stone fly nymph but oragne..... please help!
