I did it/ updated results
« on: April 08, 2008, 09:48:39 AM »
I jumped in!!!! After doing some reading on here and several other places I went out last night and bought a .204 in Ultra-Varmint. I got all the goodies to reload for it and plan on rolling some up this week. I am anxious to see how she performs this coming weekend. You guys have a TON of info that I am sure I can use if she needs a wee bit of tweaking.

I really wanted just to say THANKS for all the INFO/KNOWLEDGE.

Congratulations and Welcome.   ;D

They are very addicting.  I recommend a .357 mag next.   ;)

And, yes, a range report is required.   :D

Here are the results from range day 1. This group was 32 vmax being pushed by varget. FYI 5 shots 100yds

This is not exactly out of the box accuracy. I polished the bore before shooting. I was impressed for the first run i think its pretty fair.  ;D

I also have a new 204 and have been patiently waiting-almost 6 weeks now-for my reloading stuff to come from Midsouth. So far my gun doesn't like 40 grainers. I'm just going to put them aside until the barrel is broken in and try them again. I'm not going to buy any more factory ammo. Good luck with your gun. Dave
