I have never owned a Military type weapon before and I am seriously considering this one. I would love to hear any pros or cons to this new round.I love the look of that long slim bullet in that fat case.
I am kinda torn between the .223 and the 6.5 creedmoor because a few reasons. I can buy 223 ammo in surplus. I know its accurate, but the 6.5 just does a little more for me. At longer ranges I think the BC will make a difference with the 6.5 and I like the heavier bullets. I know that dpms makes a quality gun, have done my homework on that one. I checked the other day at the gun shop and they told me that the 6.5 would not be available for another 6 mths. I really hate waiting when I got the Itch this bad. I was just trying to find any input on here whether or not the difference between the 223 and the 6.5 is worth the wait.
