Rain, rain go away
« on: April 15, 2008, 02:54:28 AM »
I will probably be praying for rain in July and August but if it doesn't stop raining in the Ozarks soon I guess I will just have to plant rice.  A little warm weather wouldn't hurt either.  The weather isn't helping the morels either.

Same here!  Finally went a day without rain and the temp went down to 29* last night.  Looking at 60 to 80 until the weekend then guess what?  More rain for a couple days.  I have seedlings that have been ready to set for some time.  Maybe they will produce in the house. ::)  With food prices being what they are we're planning on a big garden this year so it needs to break soon.

I live in north Mo. and we aren't as wet as in the south but we aren't getting much planted yet either, besides it's too cold for much to grow yet. More rain in the forecast, Oh well!!!!

I' mudded' the first bunch of tomatoes in today as they were getting leggy in the planter boxes.  What we need is about a week of dry weather but it looks like about five out of the next seven with a chance of rain.  Found a grand total of four morels so far.
