« on: April 15, 2008, 01:53:51 PM »
I'm looking at the Hunter version with a 7 1/2" stainless barrel, There are 2 models. Can you give me some advice. First is KS-47NHNN and KS-47NHB. Whats the differance in the two and which would be the best one for feel and hunting?

Thanks
jake

The KS47NHB is a Bisley frame.

I don't own a SBH but with the standard grip frame versus the Bisley frame it mostly comes down to which feels right in your hand, and that is mostly dependent on the size of your paws.  I think with the SBH all models have the same lower hammer spur that the Bisley Blackhawk sports.

What you see in the pictures on Ruger's site is the differences - visual.  Try each and see which suits you best.  The Bisley style - my favorite - is either a love or hate it thing.
