Finnish M1928
« on: April 16, 2008, 02:48:26 AM »
I was just given a Fin M28 in real nice shape. What manna from Heaven! The only flaws I have found are a missing front band screw and a worn bore. I can take the screw from my M27 (same dimensions) and use it to turn a new reproduction. The bore is of no concern as I have plenty to shoot already.
My collection has grown
M1891, Tikka rebuild fm 1944
M1927, Tikka fm 1928
M1828, SIG barrel
M91/30, Tikka rebuild fm 1941

I still need a m1924, M28/30 and a M1939 to complete the basics. After that it is a matter of finding variations on the basic modles.
