44 MAG 220 GR LOAD DATA

I picked up some Sierra TournamentMaster Bullets 220 gr today because they where on sale. None of my reloading manuals have them listed. Just wanting a source for load data here. Am thinking of trying 2400 which is listed on the 210 and 225 so should work but need starting info and max info. Other powder info if you have them too but would really like an online source for the info. This will be for an 1894 marlin load.

I'd think you'd be safe using the data for the 225, as long as that data is for jacketed, like the 220s you mentioned. JMHO, jd45

Wait a minute..........there is the fact that a lead bullet, no matter how hard, is gonna have a lower friction potential going thru the barrel, as opposed to a copper-jacketted bullet, therefore less pressure, for the record. jd45

My old c1991 Loadbooks Sierra T/C page shows a starting load of 21.8 and max of 23.9 for 2400 with their 220 gr FPJ which should be their #8605 220 gr Silhouette bullet (still have a box of about 50 of these)
For on-line try:

as this guy (Steve) apparently consolidates published data from a variety of published sources.
Best,
Brian

thanks guys that makes me feel better having something to look at. When there are only 2 grain difference in starting and max I was a little concerned of just using the 225 data although I had that thought too, jd45. I also found Reloaders Nest during my searches for info and it has a lot of useful data as well.
