Groundhogs are out in force

Had to do some running around yesterday and the little suckers were out everywere , the down side was most were inside the city limits and could not shoot them , I do plan to go out this afternoon and try my luck . Anyone doing any good yet ?

I have shot several here in the pan handle of Henry county. The neighbor stopped over Wed evening to drink a few beers and I took his four wheeler down the ditch line and got 2 with my Delta Elite

For me the beer comes out along with the cleaning rod.... when the shooting is finished.

Once May is over I have much more time to myself as far as meeting up.
My wife and kid go to the inlaws for the summer!

Hey guys,

Where is some public land near Dayton that might have some groundhogs? Only one I have seen are on private land that they say no to shooting them, or on the right of ways on the highways and roads.... ARGH!!!

That is the one thing I have really missed after moving to Ohio, I don't know any land owners up here but one, not like back home where I could just ride up to someones house I knew and ask if they had any they wanted rid of.
