Remington Model 7 Stock
« on: December 14, 2002, 05:17:46 AM »
I am in the market for a replacement stock for a Remington Model 7.  It currently wears a youth model stock.  I need an adult size synthetic stock.  So far the only replacement options I can find are a Remington factory replacement, a H-S Precision, and of course a McMillan.  I would prefer a resonably priced "drop in".  Can anyone tell me if any other stock makers offer this model.  Thanks. :?:

Smoky,

I would stick with either the McMillan or H-S Precision (and in that order).  Yes, they are quite expensive, but believe me, they are well worth the price.

I own a few H-S Stocks and they have caused my groups to get a little tighter!   But more important than that, their quality is fantastic.  They truly are a cut above the rest.

Don't feel bad about buying these stocks.  Buy them and you will be quite pleased. :-D
