No More .22LR Sportster?

In selling out all my Encore stuff I ended up needing a .22 LR. Stopped by my local gun shop to get a .22 LR Sportster  on order.
Found that there aren't any in stock at any of the wholesalers, and no idea when/if there are going to be any more.
Anybody heard anything about this?

p.s. Just went to Gun Gennie and used their search function. They do not even list the Sportster in .22LR any more.

  They still have them here and they are still listed on the web-site. I don't think they are going anywhere.

Does your local Walmart sell guns ? If Sports South has them Walmart has them. Kurt
