best place to find a SPS varmint

so far i have been to a Dick's Sporting Goods $549 with some green looking stock and on the net and found a price of $515 for a black stocked rem 700SPS Varmint model. any one out there help me out!

I don't think you will find a better price than $515.00. I say go order it. Dale

When I read the title the first place that came to mind was Dicks Sporting Goods.  Then I opened the thread up and of course you already knew about that store having them.  That's pretty much the only store that I've seen have the sps varmints in multiple calibers and in stock.  From what I've read of them they sound like a nice rifle.  If you buy it at Dicks just make sure that you sign up for their card and get the ??% off.

There were a few times last year that Dick's had a sale on the SPS Varmint in .223 and .22-250 at $479 and that included a mounted 4X-12X scope - a cheapie , still a good price for the rifle itself. And I was later able to send in for a $30 rebate too at the time. Not sure if they will have the same sale again.

My main gun shop I buy from has the SPS Varmint with the black stock for $515 last time I was there.

Anyway I bought the SPS Varmint from Dick's on sale last Oct. Installed it in a HS stock. It is a really impressive shooter!

there a seller on gun broker with a 700 SPS varmint in 223 for $480 $20 shipping. but no contact info. i am blocked

Bass Pro had them down to $450 with rebates a few months ago. I called Dick's the other day and he could get me one for $500. LH 243. Good price.
