i was wondering if i should wear some latex gloves for setting traps and bait for coon,muskrat,skunk,weasel,grinners and groundhogs and are these little buggers trap shy??? :D thanks guys

Gloves are not needed for the animals you named--now with canines I would wear gloves.  Tom

Bogmaster said it. Those animals can become trap shy if they are pinched or something, but they don't pay much attention to scent.
