Yes it will work. The Russians have already done all the design (they call it a 9MM x 39) and pacific tool has the reamers for it. The case not only gets necked up but it also gets fire formed moving the shoulder forward and blowing out the case making it almost straight walled. With the larger case capacity you can get right at .35 rem velocity using 180/200gr bullets but what I hope to do is use 240/260gr bullets at sub sonic speeds, If I can get the local law to buy it, it will be suppressed.
