Flutted ultra varmit or ultra hunter in .243

I'm dead set on getting a .243 with a 24" barrel, but which will I be happier with?

Either one are great barrels. I think the fluted one looks cool. The fluted one weighs just a very little less and allows for the barrel to cool a little quicker. It just all depends on your taste. They will both shoot equally well. Dale

Thanks I appreciate it.  I think the flutted barrel looks pretty cool too.  They go for $295 around here, but I haven't seen any of the ultra hunters.  How much, if any, cheaper are they than the ultra varmit.

Ultra varmint .243 and love it. Harris bi-pod with a 3-9X40 Factory ammo 75grain V-max.

You have three 243 Ultra choices, the fluted, Ultra Varmint and Ultra Varmint t-hole.  ;)

1911bmw - Be aware that the 243 Ultra Hunter is a 22" barrel. The three that Quickdtoo mentioned are 24"
