I think we all came to the same conclusions as those folks.  I'm still gonna get it though.  I can't resist.  I am looking at another rifle though... really don't need it... but I'm thinkin' 45-90 here...  or maybe 45-120... Seems I could work me up some loads with that program...  ;D

After playing with almost all of the "Ballistic Programs" on the market, free and otherwise, I have decided that the QuickLoad/QuickTarget suite is probably the best.

BUT...

I do not use any of the programs to develop a load.  I do the development at the shooting bench.  When I am done I plug the necessary factors into each program and I have found that QuickLoad generally comes closest to what was actually obtained at the range.
