Monster quest??? "WOLFMAN"
« on: May 02, 2008, 06:01:54 AM »
Did you see monster quest the other night about the wolfman??  It has the figure "body" of a man yet the head of a wolf.  To me it looks like a large uprite walking wolf.  There seems to be many sightings in Wisconsin(I think it was).  Any thoughts????

This is what happens when people are shut in all winter drinking beer and watching Packer's football.

I saw the "Monster Quest" program....  I've also enjoyed some of the above comments--especially about drinking beer and watching Packers football while being shut up all winter.  There was, however, one aspect of the program that caught my attention.  Did you catch that part where they showed three different variations of the reported creature?

The reason this caught my attention was this:  Over on www.Bigfootstudy.com where I'm also a moderator, we have had a couple of encounter reports wherein the reported bigfoot was different from the norm of such reports.  One reported sighting, happening on the first day of Oklahoma's 2007 deer season, was of a critter that was considerably smaller and thinner than the 7-to-9 feet tall, massive norm: he was some, as I recall, 6 feet tall and skinny.  His/her body hair was long.  He/she walked upright across an open field in the view of a hunter in an elevated deer stand.

Another person has reported seeing two such critters that varied in physical build.  His sightings were several years apart and made several years ago.

BTW, I have never seen a bigfoot.  But then, I neither watch football nor drink beer, and we sooners are seldom shut in by deep snow.

Do a Google on "BRAY ROAD BEAST".  Seems they have had periodical reports of such a critter in Southeaster Wisconsin, since 1936?

It happens all the time i get the snickers and silly remarks from people.  I told my neighbor i seen a fisher he laughed at me and a few months later he seen it too.  Then i told him i seen a mountainlion ( called a catamount in VT) he laughed at me again.  Then my other neighbor on the other side of the valley seen it too so he said one day he wasn't laughing then.   My other neighbor is from colorado and she said she knows what a mountainlion looks like...

I never seen a wolfman nor a bigfoot yet.  They talked about a lizzard man today.  Who knows whats really out there?  They said there are many dimentions in time this is why we don't always see these creatures. Again who knows??

The only thing i can think of is some one played with a we/gee board and got something.  Thats what i think is wrong with Dudleytown kids who played with the occult there so the place is more haunted than it first was.

I used to really enjoy this show, but with the exception of big fish every now and then they never get proof of a monster.

The show has turned into a big joke.  A lot of hype but no results.

I justed posted a thing about brey beasts here in wisconsin, they also call them windagos here, and there has been a number of sightings involving them. in at least 2 countys,The county (rock) that they have the brey road beast named and sighted in, did actually issue silver bullets to members of the law enforcement community. They had a officer showing some of the bullets off on one interview they did about it last year

I absolutely do believe in "wolfmen" and know for a fact that they only come out in a full moon. I was once at a Halloween party, when a very inebriated fellow, who wore a wolf costume, bent over and exposed his derriere for eveyone to see.

Regarding my previous post, I need to issue a clarification. I in no way intended to poke fun at or belittle anyone who does believe in such things. After all, the only thing I can state with 100% factual certainty is that I've never seen a Big-foot, wolfman, etc. So, while I am personelly quite skeptical in the existence of such creatures, I cannot totally discount the sightings of others. My previous post was just my inept attempt at levity. Lest you think I am one of those, who only believes in what I can experience with the 5 senses, I unequivocally believe in the spirit world and life after death.

Although it is very true that "Monster Quest" seems to not come up with proof in most of their programs, I still enjoy watching them--most of the time.  A recent one took a look at the possibility of wild/feral Chimps in California and Florida.  They stated that there had been some 70 reports of what are quite possibly free-roaming Chimps in central Florida. I used the language "wild/feral" because, if there are such free-roaming Chimps, they are probably either escaped or released pets.  See my post on www.Bigfootstudy.com in the media section.
