Anyone load for the 22 Rem Jet ?

The reason I ask is that I have some 357 Max brass that was formed for my .224 GNR and it came out too short for that round , what I need is someone with dies that I could send about 10 peices of this brass to , and have them run it in the dies to see if it will form to the jet as is or if I need to also pick up a form die .

Well I can tell you two things here, you can use just the FL die bu you'll need to trim them first and you'll loose about 40% that way. If you use the form die you'll cut that back to about 10% loss and you will need to anneal them prior to forming. The problem is that long shoulder, the brass even annealed tends to fold over on it self real easy.

Thanks a bunch , that helps , I tried to take a short cut with the Reeder and over 50% of the cases were around 0.050 short . a hard lesson learned with new 357 Max brass as there was not enough neck to properly hold the bullet .

Don't think I'll make the same mistake on this one , ( note to self ) get form die .
