Hunting in Oklahoma

I know I have seen several of you on here.  Wouldn't you like to have a forum to discuss hunting in our state?

This request has been made before and got the 12 votes needed. No one including the person who asked for it would moderate it and the person who asked then said they no longer had any interest in the forum even existing so I deleted the thread and didn't establish the forum.

So let's get this out of the way UP FRONT are you going to moderate it a use it?

Also you MUST get your wording in line with what's required soon or I'll just delete the thread and not consider it. I have mandatory wording that must be used and you did not. The last request began EXACTLY in this same manner and after I explained it to them that's when the orignator decided he didn't want any further part of it.

I would be interested and think it would be good for Oklahoma and I would support it.

But have you voted in the poll? Comments here mean nothing really only the vote on the poll determines the outcome.

This is not the turn out I expected.  I know I have seen several on here mention being from Oklahoma in there replies, I thought for sure there would be enough yes votes.  Then GB's response gave me some concern that maybe there would not be enough interest.  I agree with Jack and think it would be good for Oklahoma and Oklahoma hunters.  I think this would be a great place to share experiences, stories, pictures, ask for advise, meet some fellow Oklahoma hunters, find places to hunt, discuss local hunting/shooting/gunsmiths shops and I am sure there are other things I have left off.  I am curious about the no voters: Do you hunt in Oklahoma? If not I see why you voted NO, but if you do what was your reason?  I am not sure how long GB leaves these request up, but I am hoping there will be enough interest.

Thanks to those that have voted and commented,
MGM

mattmillerrx, when they tried to get an Illinois forum, the same thing happened. At first there were so many NO votes they out numbered real voters? Hang in there?

Since this one did get the needed number of votes before but just no one would moderate it and even the person asking for it admitted he no longer was interested I'm gonna make an exception here to the rule of 12. I see the person requesting this time is willing to moderate and interest seems adequate in establishing it. I know we have a LOT of Oklahoma folks here at the site so I'm gonna go ahead and set it up now.

Just noticed the OK hunting forum:  Thanks very much Graybeard.  Will try to round up another forum member.
I live west of Lawton and am a dedicated hog hunter:  Hunt them 12 months of the year when not away working.

I did not vote for the forum until today but have been posting. Great idea and I will support the forum and post regularly.
Deer hunting is mostly fun then you shoot one and it turns to work.
