Firearm - $250
A few trips to the range - $50
The memories and love created - PRICELESS.   <---------  Can't give a better gift than that!!

Way to go Lloyd!

I REALLY like these stories ;D . Way cool gift for a kid - pretty cool for an adult too.... Cool Grandad to have, I suppose!

Bit of soapbox... not to highjack the thread or start a discussion on it.... just a reminder.  Most places a Grandad can't have the pleasure of doing that for his Grandkid. Being able to do this is a right you need to take good care of. Long may you be able to do give these gifts and share these experiences!

he kind of allready does. I bought two of them that me and the 4 grandsons share. I laughed at him the other day when i gave it to him. Last summer i had an ar15 at camp and he shot about 300 rounds out of it that day and just loved it. He asked me before he went home if that army gun would kill deer and if he could have it when i died and how long i figued id still be around ;D

had to chuckle when i gave it to him. I thought i had 4 grandsons that i had to set up with a deer rilfe but the oldest grandkid is a girl and she got a little bent out of place because she was the oldest and wanted a deer rifle herself so it looks like i may have 7 to buy for instead of 4!!!
