Any of you shoot a Crosman Quest 1000 ? If so, How well does it perform for you? How well made does the rifle really seem to you? Thanks for your reply. scout4<><

I had one and gave it to my nephew. Very nice rifle for the price. I think the model I had was the 800. At any rate it was a .22 instead of .177. The trigger was just a tad grainy, but otherwise perfect. I passed it over a fine stone about 10 times and it was as good as the German air rifles. Power was great as well. The scope was even very good. All in all I used it for a season squirrel hunting and it was a suprisingly good rifle. I came upon a deal for another rifle and couldn't pass it up.  If I recall properly there were 3 very similar models all made in chia. This one the Remington and the phantom, I believe it was a crosman as well, but not sure. Any way what ever the absolute best chinese rifle is called (B42 maybe) these are made by the same company. They are supposed to be better quality than Gamo.

do not overlook the pump up pneumatics... no recoil and good accuracy and power.

I bought one and took it to south america for my father as a present.  We went out hunting and also brought the air rifle along in case we got an opportunity to tested.  Sure enough, we dedicated one day to shoot doves for lunch and this rifle performed great.  The accuracy was unbelievable!  Most impressive was the power.  We shot an ant eater and it killed it.  Those are tough creatures.  We also shot two pheasants and they dropped like been hit by lightning.

Every time I call my dad to see how is he doing, I always ask if he has gone hunting with the air rifle and he is doing great with it.

I think I will buy another one any time.

Thanks again for any of your information. kennisondan, I have not bought a quest as yet. I was just gettin some info about the gun first. I have an older sping piston gun that shoots good, but to me seems to lack the power I would like to have for a good hunting airrifle. Not to keen on the pumpers. Thanks anyway. scout4<><
