There are two ways to mount a scope to a T3. The built in groove or after market bases. I just used to built-in mounting groove of my T3 Lite. If you surf to MidwayUSA and search on the words Tikka Rings you will see that both Millett and Warne make rings that attach directly to the groove. The machined in groove is correctly aligned so there is no reason to bother with the Millett 'windage adjustable' rings. I'm using the Warne on mine and they work fine. Midway also has an excellent chart to help you select the proper ring height.

The other good options are a Weaver base or a Picatinny base, or an integrated and prealigned all-in-one like the DNZ (formerly DedNutz) ring and base combination. Just search Midway for the words Tikka Mount and you'll see what's compatible. Any other style of mount is going to need a scope ring alignment and lapping set. Midway carries all of these. FYI - I'm just a Midway customer and not associated with them in any way.

Another happy Warne user, mine from Brownells. They have a pin like recoil lug to fit the dovetail hole, so they won't get to walking on you. 3X9X50 mounted on a T3 lite in .300 win mag, solid through 130 rounds so far.
