Will a 91/30 action fit into a m44 stock?Would like to make a scout rifle out of one and use m 44 stock.

 the actions are the same , my guess is it would , and if there was any troubles it'd be the barrel area , and that could be corrected
So in fact I don't know for sure but my guess is it would fit , as I don't see why it wouldn't , look a little odd, but so what
