Have you ever....?

Needed some shoe polish Sunday morning and couldn't find any in the house.Seemed I remembered some Kiwi put away with my old army gear.We moved a few years ago and that stuff was never taken out of the box.In one box there's a plastic bucket with a lid.I open it and looky here...about 100 remington .223 cases.Now I remember buying remington cases when I first started reloading but don't remember buying that many.I did find the kiwi and in time for church.Have you ever gone throufgh the old stuff and found......?

Must be the month for missing 223 , opened a box that has been here since we moved in 8 years ago and found 300 + rounds of 223 blanks that my little brother gave me back in 1984 after a sumer camp in Mi.   

Went shooting sat afternoon and thought I took 2 boxes of 223 and found out 1 was a missing box of 218 Bee that I tore the reloading room apart looking for .

It has been a little over a year but when I opened drawer three in the reloading room I found a box (1,000 count) of the CCI benchrest primers in the back compartment that I had purchased in the mid 80's
It is always great to find those misplaced treasures...I try to inventory all of my gadgets, items, and accessories every couple of years but have enough stuff to fill a couple tables or more at a gunshow.

You mean you're not supposed to hide stuff from yourself !!??? Heck I been doing this so long, I wonder some time if OLDTIMERS hasn't set in!

I was rumaging through an old barn haypile kept finding little odds and ends. It was going to be burned down in a week or so just thought I'd look for a few treasures.  Sure enough I found one about 40 lbs of lead pipe the pure soft stuff from probably the 1950's. Good find to date I have molded about 1000 357 bullets from that lead.
