rem. model 11 ?

i have recently purchased my first model 11 and a friend tells me that a lot of the older shotguns will only eject high brass shells,i was wondering if that is true with the model11 or,will it eject low brass shells without any problems? any help will be appreciated. it was made in 1946 if that helps,thanx in advance

These will do both, if the gun is set up correctly. Go to Remington's website and order a copy of the owners manual (free)
It will tell you how to set the friction ring, friction piece, and recoil spring for the high brass and low brass shells.

towards the bottom it says "request an obsolete owner's manual"
click that, then sign up and they will send you a copy.

I think browning has an owners manual on their website for the Auto-5, it's the same set up.
