I have been hearing over the past year of the world ending in 2012. I don't really believe in that crap. For any of you with any interest in learning about it here is a link to a documentary on it. the Mayans were a lot more knowledgeable about astronomy than we are and that's when they ended their calender for this world, they also believed that we are the fourth (if memory serves) incarnation of the world, which lines up with the mass extinctions we know of, I really don't know what will happen maybe they just got tired of making entries on their calender, I have no idea of why people are so interested in figguring out when the world will end either. There is not a lot we can do about it either way so we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Can't say that I believe in Santa or the Easter bunny and only kinda sorta in the Energizer bunny but I do have a sneaky suspicion that there is something to the December 2012 stories. There is no proof and cannot be until then and yeah a lot of doomsday advocates have been wrong before and might be this time. But there are just too many things all independently pointing to the same date for me to not take it some what seriously.

I'm not gonna give away or sell off everything in preparation for it but do kinda expect major catastrophies to take place as a minimum in that year. What the heck who really cares by then this country will not be worth living in anyway and I'm about ready for it to all end anyway so kinda hope the predictions do come true.

Yea, while your walking around thinking about 2012 you could get hit by a bus or something!

Your death could be right around the corner or could be a long way off.
Contemplating doomsday crap is pointless and morbid.
The Mayans did seem to have an intense knowledge of the stars.
And the stone cutting was amazing.....

I feel you are all onto something. You guys will never be able to fully enjoy your firearms (Especially those new ones Graybeard) fully in this short amount of time.
By shipping to me, I'll make sure they get used alot and enjoyed before the end of the world as we know it.

I'm not particular as to brands or calibers. Shotguns always welcome. You might as well give them a good send off.

BTW, I believe the "end" is nearer than most think. I have a tough time believing any type of dates, but the signs have been everywhere since 1948. No matter , I'm ready in any case.

Based on the happenings or better stated the happening, 1948 is a good place to start the count down. All other predictions I consider vain speculation. Only one knows the real date, and He ain't sayin.

I guess the could be something to this 2012 talk, that is only 4 years away i don't know if i can be ready by then.

They can't predict the weather from day to day so I see no reason in believing that bull. Only one person makes that decision and the way I see it that day could be tomorrow, a minute from now, or a million more years from now.

I just paid $1,000.00 for 217 gallons of diesel this morning. I think ECONOMIC dooms day is a damn site closer than 2012. Just my opinion. My wife said a $2.50 bag of shredded cheddar cheese was "on sale" at Wal Mart yesterday for $7.50.

Sounds like a good date to me for Independence. I think to US will be attacked or their will be total economic and social breakdown. We have talked about that possiability a lot up here. We are isolated up here. Due to our isolation we are prepared to take care of ourselves. We have to be, no one comes to our aid like down south. If they should it would be too late if it was winter. We are prepared for anything that may happen. We are an independent lot.

I'm leaning more and more toward Alaskan Independence. We already have the necessary documents to follow. All we have to do is follow the language. I sure expect doomsday by 2012, if either one of the Dems is elected US President.

they predicted the comming of the Europeans to the day. They knew that a black hole existed in the center of our Galaxy and that on DEC.23 2012 the earth will be in exact alignment between it and the sun ,the biggest gravitational pulls, known. Our best and brightest found black holes about 10 years ago and this one about 5 yrs ago. An old apache medicine man also said the white man will destroy us but if they continue to harm mother she will rid herself as a dog shakes off fleas.
