Getting back into trapping

Hi I just moved back to Wisconsin, and I am in the Onalaska area, and want to trap on the river what or were do I find regulations for trapping in the river zone?

 You have a couple ways you can go, contact your department of Natural Resources,or the Wisconsin Trappers Association.
 I am not sure which WTA district you  are in(I am a lifetime member),but I live in MN.The WTA is a very good organization, with a lot of great members.I am sure ,members in your area will give you a hand.

I live on the south end of LaCrosse.
Information and license for trapping the river can be picked up at the US Fish & Wildlife office 555 Lester Ave Onalaska.

Welcome back! I'd do what mac said! I know that there are a ton of special rules and regs for the big muddy! They try to cater to all the sportsmen! I guess we all need to share the the land.

Regulations their,s regulations ahgu,LOL  I grew up in northren Wisconsin and trapper their for most of 40 years then I moved out North Dakota for a few years and trapped their also (hardly any Regulations) now I am back on the river that I grew on on (or in) when I was growing up .  North Dakota--few regulations--few people.
 Wisconsin/Minnesota---a regulation for everything---and people everywhere.
 A guy just can't win.
