If you really want to start hand loading on the cheap, you could get one of the Classic Lee Loaders. That is how I started and it loaded good ammo. It is just a little slow but great to learn the basics with. After you get more comfortable with the whole process upgrade your equipment. If you decide you dont like hand loading(unlikely I know!) you wont be out much with a Lee Loader. Best of all the Lee Loader is completely portable and you can take it anywhere.

Ya, I plan on getting a Lee set. It is cheap and makes bullets. That is all I need right now anyways.

Ballistic, here is the list iof stuff:
It is all Lee stuff

Press

Powder measure

Safty scale

Powder funnel

Lee auto prime and shell holders

Inside/outside camphering tool

Probly couple other little items that my old brain can think of right now.

Items you will need:

Dies (lee dies come with a shell holder)

Set of metal calipers

Couple loading manualls

Powder

Bullets

Primers

If you or your dad knows anybody that reloads get with them for some hands on training. Not every one knows EVERYTHING about reloading. Have been doing it for 55 yrs and still learn something new all the time.

Guys ifin I missed something jump on in and help out.

Ballistic will try to get with the gal that has the stuff sometime next week or by next weekend and see if there are any other incidentals I may have missed.

Here's a reasonable list of what's needed and what's nice to have.  ;)

Ballistic, if your asking me the price of things I said it should run around $50.00 or a little less . his includes shipping and insurance. As for the dies and bullets etc... that would depend on what your local gun shop charges.
