Oh My --lol, what did winning them cost you Dave? The busters are a cheap knock off , of the coon cuffs--wish you had saved your money.
They can be put in a hole or a pipe,be careful not to get dirt in the sides or you may set it off.I do not own any, or sell them--so you will have to experiment with the size of pvc, they may fit in.

Thanks bogmaster, you made me feel bad for buying  these bandit busters,i won them on eBay for 21 dollars for 4 of them,,i thought i was doing good,,but when i got them theyare open on one whole side and that sucks, i guess i will work on it and figure out something, anyways traps hanging will surely not catch anything!!! As for my other post about painted traps, i will not bother waxing them, they wont rust and they are for the water anyways,,thanks bog man Dave

Dave,in a pinch, I have painted a few of my body grippers. They will work fine. You may want to scrape a bit of the paint away from the pan notch and dog tip. Some types of paint, can be slippery.

When painting traps, use a flat  type paint, not a gloss or paint that gives shiny coat.  The  flat paint  has dull appearance and isnt slippery.  I used a reddish brown rustoleum primer  20 years ago on some body grips and they are still good today and have been used every season on land and in water lines.   Dont use spray cans as too expensive, buy gallon cans and thin down some and dip your traps and  hang above a pan to collect drips and if enough can be put back into paint can for other traps.. Good luck  happy  trap maintenance!
