What have been your experiences with the Yildiz brand shotguns?  I did a search and found a couple of old threads with little info.  I have handled these a few times in at Academy and thought them to be of good quality especially for the cost.  The gun will be a gift for Dad and is not for me.  He is wanting an O/U and I know that with him it will be a truck gun during quail season, he usually takes his dog with him to feed and usually make a pace or two through each hot spot in each pasture and the gun never leaves the truck except to hunt.  In other words it is going to get knocked around pretty good.  I cannot see paying 1200-2000 for a gun that is just going to knocked around (although he would not ever use a gun that cost that much at least not in that way).  But at the same time I do not want to buy something that is going to need to be worked on every time you shoot it.  Most of the stuff I have read says the firing pin are prone to breaking(several thousand rounds from what I read).  That is not a big deal as long as the gun is not to bad to take apart.

Thanks for the info.
