I don't know, my symptoms have subsided.  I have a Finn M39 and a 91/59.  I also had a Finn M27, but that went at a gun show.  I think that I am in the clear now, unless I find another Finn at a bargain price like the last 2.  I actually passed up a bargain-priced M44 recently.  They are really great rifles.  I hate the safety, but love the feeding system.

For me buying a M44 was only the beginning.  While the rifle came with most of its original accessories, I bought a hundred rounds of reloadable Winchester ammo, Hornady bullets (a plus, since the 7.62 Russian shares the same .312 dia. bullets as my two 303 British rifles), reloading dies and guide for the 7.62x54R, stripper clips and a few other odds and ends.  Next local gun show I'll be looking for a book or two on Mosin Nagants and a tin or two of surplus ammo.  The Guns & Ammo Surplus Gun Specials along with the recent August issue of Reloader all have great articles on this rifle and cartridge.  I can enjoy this rifle at the range, cleaning it, reloading for it, reading about it, and collecting accessories for it.

Your on a roll!!!!!  You have the disease for sure.  Thats how it starts with just one, then a second and then the third.  But when you have the mosins you will go on to the next surplup for sure.

A nice collection of mosins;

Russian M91/30
Russian M91/59
Russian M38

Finnish M91/30 (captured russian rifles)
Finnish M39

The harder ones are the;
Finnish M24
Finnish M27
Finnish M28 ski troops (rifle double rear sling slots)

Then its the semi's;

Russian SVT-40 Tokarev  (no scope rails)
Russian SVT-40 Tokarev Sniper
Russian SVT-40 Tokarve Carbine
Finnish SVT-40 Tokarev Sniper

Then you also have the mausers plus more to go too.

When i first started collecting i thought there were so many different surplus military guns it would be endless.  But really there isn't that many.
