Does any of you Thompson center fellas have a load for a 460 S&W  PIStol . What I am looking for is loads that will work with 300 ,335, and 340 grain lead cast bullets. I have the 15 inch barrel. I cant seem to find any loads that work and I am not sure if I am using the correct primer either .

If you can can you give me a complete break down of the loads. thanks I plan on trying them out.  thanks.

I have a factory 15” 454 Casull barrel that I had cut down to 12” by SSK and also they installed the 6 screw T’SOB base with three rings for me.  I load 310 grain and 360 grain LBT type bullets using H-110 and small rifle magnum (CCI 450) primers with excellent results.  Having the barrel cut down cleaned up the front sight holes and made a more compact usable hunting pistol for me.  I currently have a Leupold 2x20 pistol scope on it.  I also use the new Pachmayr grip and forend, because my walnut grip cracked from the recoil.

Starline 460 S&W magnum brass uses large rifle primers.  What brand of brass do you have?

Take a look at the Hodgdon website for load data.
