Hello, i just have a quick question for all the NEF and H&R guys and ladies out there...does anyone own the 223 24" bull fluted barrel, or the 22-250, and how do they shoot for you, and which factory loads work the best? My father has the 223 and it shoots well...but we would like to see if there is a certain load that you all might have been using that works well. And remember i am talking factory, that i can go buy at a store. I have the 22-250 version, and it started out its life last spring shooting very well...but has done nothing but go downhill since its first firings. It now opens up on firing. and the trigger is horribly hard compared to my dads 223. I believe that the break open upon firing is the reason for bad accuracy. The gun is on its way to H&R for repair as i type this actually. Another issue i ask is how much does a trigger job on these rifles usually cost at a gunsmith?
