Remember these?
« on: June 05, 2008, 12:20:23 PM »
It is time for my annual take out all my guns and wipe them down with oil day and I found this in the back of my safe. Honestly I forgot all about it.

I got it at a garage sale for 10 bucks and it's in pretty good condition. Crossman power slide v-360 Pat. Pending bb gun. You actually pull the barrel straight back into the receiver to cock it. You can see where the finish is worn from cocking (that's not rust). It still fires too.

There's no serial number or anything. Can someone date it approximately?

Holy cow! I do remember this gun. Two of my buddies had these in the mid 60's.While not overly powerful they were about right for guys like us that were 10 or 11 years old at the time. good memories! thanks for reminding me of those guns and my old friends. dinger.

Sure I can date her, as long as you don't expect her back anytime soon...heheheheh

Seriously, though, In my copy of 75 Years of Crosman Airguns, I see a "V-350 Slide-Action BB Air Rifle" ad for 1961.

Ok, now that I have stopped fussing and fuming, I found it (past right over it, twice!) in my copy of the Blue Book of Airguns 6th Ed.

"Model V350 - BB/.175 cal., push-barrel, SP, hardwood stock, variation of Quackenbush Model 7. Mfg. 1961-69."
Value stated in this book :
100 % $120
95%  $110
90%  $100
80%  $95
60%  $75

Coolness factor : "Priceless"   ;)
