I saw one for sale on auctionarms.com this morning - with a 17 HMR barrel, NIB.  Sounded interesting, perhaps someone around here would want to buy it - I have to hold off a bit so I can fund other projects.

I finally got mine from Ed's Contenders.  I think it took Ed about 5-6 weeks to finally get a couple in.  I haven't shot mine as of yet, but I ordered it with a 12" 22LR Match bbl.  Figured it would be cheaper to start off with and will improve my shooting ability as I haven't shot a handgun in a long time.  My next bbl will probably be the 7x30 or 30-30.

I really didn't pay that much attention. I was preocupied looking for some specific stuff. I'm sure they will probably bring a bit of a premium untill the market fills up some.  KN

There was a G-2 at the shop where I recently got my Encore. One of the reasons I'd been holding off on my Encore purchase is because I wanted to see a G-2 first. I was suprised to discover the shop asking at least $50 more for the G-2 than for the Encore. I'm glad I still liked the Encore better, because that preference saved me at least 50 bucks!

My dealer had a waiting list with 10 names. The wholesaler just shipped 3, one is mine.

Do you mean there is a shop in B.R. that has a G2 in stock? I just placed an order tue. For a G2 in Houma and the distrubitor doesn't know when they will be getting any in.

G2 Wait Times.... continue waiting

At least you guys can get your hands on one.  In Kalifornia, you cannot buy a "G2 Pistol".  I have a 209x45 G2 on order but lord only knows when THOSE will make it out of the factory. (????)  Have any of you laid eyes on complete rifle rigs yet?  I've seen a couple complete pistols on Guns America and the such.  If you really want one badly, buy from an online dealer and transfer them to a local.  We can't do that either in Komi-fornia.  Still waiting for my G2 and waiting and waiting and.... :(

G2 Carbine
« Reply #12 on: July 28, 2003, 06:17:01 PM »
Got my .22lr G2 carbine in this weekend. Had it on order for almost a year.  Range report is luke warm on accuracy (.5-.75" at 50yds). Barrel had a nasty burr on the edge of the bore. I recrowned it but have yet to go back out and try again. I do like the 23" heavier countour though. Through the wrist it is much thinner than an Encore or the old Contender. MI-shooter
