Getting a .32 barrel for CHRISTmas.........

:D That nickle size patch is right on the button fer that little .32  But they dont have to be round,u can cut em sauare also,and it takes less time.  Which..inturn leaves ya more time to shoot 8)

.32 patches

:D  try this use only cloth as in cotton or linnen don't use a bed sheet expecily the wifes new one (believe me i found out the lard way and i cost me a brand new set of silk sheet s. that definately hurt my pocket book, i got busted in the act by the  wifey.
         any way cut into squares about an inch long and wide drop powder down and place patch on muzzle and place ball on patch and run it down just enough to get the ball started in muzzle and take knife and cut off excess, then continue to run ball and patch home. woks good.
          i've used .308 diam. round balls and .310"s, and .315's all work well but the .315" and a .15 linnen patch seams to be the best in my green mountain 36" lancaster builtby myself.

Why not cut them in the traditional way, as you load. They all fit perfectly every shot.

I cut my patch material in 1" strips, after I impregnate them with water and water soluble oil (Dutch Shultz method) let them dry so just the oil is in the weave, store 'em in 35mm film canisters all rolled up nice and neat, then place over the bore, just start the ball into the end of the muzzle flush like, and use a sharp flat bladed knife and cut excess patch, stays consistent each time and the ball is equally surrounded by the patch. The .32 and the .36 both utilize the same size patch which is 7/8". You can make a patch cutter by purchasing a hole saw drill bit. Now the only thing is with patches, you measure the outside diameter. With hole saw bits you measure the inside diameter. Hubby made one by purchasing a 1 inch drill bit. You then grind off all the teeth and beveled one edge to be able to sharpen. Keep it cool by quenching in water. After he did this, he threaded a bolt into the threads at the top and cut the bolt head off. He then turned down a "wooden ball" on his wood lathe and attached it to the bolt for a handle. He cuts out hundreds of patches at one sitting in various calibers.
