No Tasco Scope Service

Hello to all:

I had sent off my 2X Tasco Scope for repairs. I followed the instructions to the letter, insured, etc. Today, I received my package back from Miramir, Fla. Repair Center. It was unopened, and a tag on it read "REFUSED."

Has any one else had this problem, are they out of business, or what's going on ?? I know one thing for certain, I'll not buy any other products by Tasco. Anyone out there that maybe can comment or help on this, please feel free to do so. I guess I'll have to "chunk" it, trash it, and caulk it up as a valuable lesson learned.

Thanks once again. This is a great group on here. No wonder I check it every day like family. Thanks again for the help.

Now, next time (another lesson learned), I'll check you all of you before I do something like sending a scope in. I feel a lot better, already. Thanks again.

Hi everyone,

I have a Tasco scope that I wanted to get an owners manual for.  When I asked Tasco, they came up with nothing.  About 6 months later they went out of business.  The business was bought by Bushnell.  ABOUSAINC does the Tasco work and some others for Bushnell.  I called ABOUSAINC about the manual and they gave me all the details on how to get it.  Good luck on your repairs.

Hope you have better luck with them than I have had. I sent the scope and a money order the first of February. I called in June and was promised the scope in July. Around the end of July I called again and was told it would be shipped the 18th of August. Still no scope here in September.  :?

   Was that ABO USA, Inc. that you sent your scope to back in February?  I sent them one of mine in July, and they said they would ship it "10 weeks from today" when I called them the first of August.  They never confirmed that they had even received my scope until I called them.  I was kind of worried then, and now after reading your message, I'm even MORE worried :(
