45 lever gun

I am looking into getting a lever gun in Long Colt 45 and was wondering if the Marlin action will hold up to my ruger loads of 20 to 21gr of 2400- 250 jhp they are stout but they have saved my bacon more then once.  TIA Nim

Yes, It will take a load listed for Ruger or Thompson Center.  DP.
