« on: June 10, 2008, 04:26:50 PM »

Good looking rifle I think.  Who makes em?
Any one have one?
I shoot a sidekick and I'm a big fan of the break open platform.

thanks in advance.

I'm drawing a blank (CRS) on the Company that makes them, but it is the same Spanish company that makes Traditions. This is a swing-block design, the receiver is painted and looks like pot metal. IMO, you can do much better with less money. I know a few guys that bought them and then sold them, if that tells you anything?

now that you mention Busta that looks a whole lot like some of the traditions stuff.

sure wish somebody would make a breechplug like that for a sidekick.

The rifle is a copy of the 120 year old Pheonix Rifle.  The Pheonix used an identical swinging block system and had a following among some target shooters.  The only one I ever saw in person was an unknown 38 caliber.
