Knife Shows
« on: July 22, 2003, 03:13:39 PM »
Wanted to know if you still make and attend any?  I run a couple of Gun & Knife Shows here on coast, but have been attending a custom knife show held here annually in the spring, last year we had Jerry Fisk, Mel Pardue, and Charlie Dake, plus 45 other maker including myself. Heck I even sold one during the show, which I though was pretty good amongst all that competion.  I work full time for MRHA VIII ( HUD) handling all of their construction for the lower fourteen counties of the state, keeps me pretty busy.   But, I try and keep afew things running all of the time.  How about you?
Retired Military, 21 years US Navy Seabees started making knives about 5 years ago.  Really like it alot.  Build mostly hunters & skinning knives with a few big bowies.  Logo is grizzly paw.

Never been to one myself.  Been to some outdoor shows that had a couple of makers and a bunch of godawful factory crap from all over.  There aren't any close to me, and have not been able to get away to go to other states.  One of these days though.  Hope to be out of here in a year or so, and be in a position to show and go.
