Each time a point of logic is made, it seems you have no valid, comprehensible retort; so you feebly counter with name calling and false accusations.
Wow, talk about pots and kettles...
As for "intimate knowlege" of the gay community (more of the not so subtle innuendo that beeman spoke of). My uncle (dads brother) is gay, he's been a part of my life since I was a child. He's as good a human being and American I know. Started his own business selling flowers in Florida, He now owns a chain of florist shops around Florida and does arrangements for the weddings of people like the CEO of Coca Cola. Taught my brother and I how to fish, how to play cards, how to go about eating a lobster. Helped us build a treehouse. He works hard, pays more in taxes than you likely made all year, has made his own way, and is a staunch Republican. He owns a home in Florida, a condo in New York and a cottage in Maine. He and his partner have had a long happy relationship that makes most straight couples jealous. His life is an amazing success story. If you think he's a sick, deranged pervert, because he's gay, which doesn't affect a soul other than his - then as far as I'm concerned you're just as sick and deranged as they come.
Outside of that, I run a bookstore in Morgantown, WV. College town, lots of strange people from all over the place. You meet and interact with a very wide variety. When you work closely with the public, you'll find that even the most outlandish folks are just
people. Americans. Taxpayers. Parents. The activities or lifestyle choices made by some may be distasteful to many, but as long as those activities don't negatively affect others, who am I (or you, for that matter) to judge or condemn? Some of you so called Christians seem to have forgotten that that's up to God.
Rex, first of all, a man with a court appointed ankle bracelet isn't likely to be anywhere near a public restroom. At least for long. Apart from that, you seem to be equating homosexuality and crossdressing with being a convicted criminal.
As I said in another thread, crime rates among homosexuals are proportionally no higher than any other group. As I've asked before, what harm does an individual being gay or choosing to wear womens clothes cause anyone? Billy says they're sick and a danger. Show me one shred of evidence supporting the notion that a homosexual or transgender person is any more likely to be a danger to your family than anyone else. Come on, lets hear it! Maybe I can get a coherent answer this time...
