DedNutZ mount on USH
« on: June 20, 2008, 04:36:00 PM »
Does anybody know what how big a scope you can use on USH 12ga with a DedNutz scope mount one it?  I think they are only avail. in High ring.  Being that the 12ga USH is on a 10ga frame can you even use the Dednutz mounting system?  Thanks in advance!!!

The USH uses a standard H&R scope base, so any mount made for an H&R should work on it.  ;) The Talley one-piece is a nice unit too, available in camo too. ;)

That does look like a great mount also.  I guess I should have explained better on my part.  I just got this NEF Tracker II Plus (are these rare?) on gunboker and it came with a Leupold 2x7x33 scope.

I plan on having some custom work done to it and was going to replace the scope mounting system that it came with but did not want the scope WAY up in the air sorta speek.  Is the DedNutz mount way to high to use with a 33mm scope?

Dunno about the Tracker II Plus, but from the threads below, it's just a renamed USH barrel.

I couldn't find any pics of a scope mounted in a Dednutz ringmount, several members have them, but no pics. Here's the best pic I could find of it tho.

I will be using Dednutz to mount a Weaver Classic K 4x38 on top of my USH deluxe.  I will post some pics when I get this completed.  It could be a couple of weeks.

Got my mount!  It is very nice.  It sits the small leupold 2x7x33 real high on it but would be perfect with a larger scope.

I got my slug gun back today.  I had the barrel chopped down to 20", got the barrel flutted, got it teflon coated and had a limbsaver grind to fit pad put on it.  Can't wait to go shoot it!  It is much lighter now.
