GOEX Black Dawge Cartridges
« on: June 22, 2008, 06:44:15 PM »
Does anyone have experience with these cartridges--especially in .45-70? I'm thinking of giving them a try in my Springfield. I thought I'd go with the 405 grain bullet which should move out at about 1200 fps from my rifle. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks. Dan

Just bought a box at Cabelas the other day.. I plan on sticking them in my new H&R Buffalo Classic, which will be shot exclusively on BP. Hopefully, I'll get a few rounds off this weekend, and I'll be sure to post my results..
"Where's your horse, stranger?"
"He broke a leg down in the gulley a while back and I had to shoot him"
"How long is a while back?"
"Three weeks..."
"What have you been doing out here for all that time?"
"Eatin' him... He was a good horse. It seemed a shame to just let him go to waste..."
