218 Bee Tracker Scope Mount
« on: June 24, 2008, 02:45:48 AM »
I have the 6.5" barreled Tracker chambered in 218 bee and was wanting to mount a scope on it.   Does anyone know what mount I need or where to find one?  Any help will be appreciated.

I checked the TaurusUSA site and noticed that they have the "Accessories" gray shaded and unavailable.  They do, however have it for the Raging Bull model but it is not the same.  I do have one for my .218 Bee but to be honest, I only use it for loading development test.  My .218 Bee is one of the revolvers that I shoot well without the scope.  I will not get rid of my scope mount in case I decide to use it for long shots in the future.  Good luck trying to find one.

How does your .218 Bee shoots?

Camba,

My 218 bee shoots really well.  I would like to find a scope mount to see if I could tighten those groups up a little more.   Does your scope mount have any model number on it?  I have noticed a tracker scope mount available for the 22lr and 17hmr tracker revolvers and was wondering if this mount would also fit the 218 bee.   They all have the ventilated rib and look to be made on the same frame.   I wonder if this mount will work.   If I can't find one, I may try this one.

I believe that is the scope mount base.  There were two kinds of them:  the one for the tracker 6.5" (that included the siluete revolver) and the one for the ragin bull and mod 44)

See the web site below that I found in the internet.  Perhaps they may stil have one for sale.
