Yeah, good luck with that  :)

BTW, I will vote for McCain----also as an anti-Obama vote (although I don't think our votes matter, the election isn't decided by you and I)

In the finial vote , a candidate that gets votes from both sides IE from the middle will win . J.M. seems to be best positioned to do that . He will not decide issues  100% the way i want nor will he be 100% left wing either . A vote for change can be good but also bad if its not the change we want . If the election is won by a landslide either way it could spark the loosing side to withdraw and destory the political system as we know it . A sustained swing to the right over 4-5 future elections may be the better course . That would give the political climate time to change and the voters time to get used to it !

YEA I KNOW , BUT I CAN DREAM CAN"T I ?

Voting for McCain.

In this poll I selected the option of John McCain and in November I will put a mark by his name on the ballot but in reality I will not be voting FOR McCain but rather I will be voting AGAINST Obama. The ONLY WAY to do that is to put the mark by McCain's name as any other selection will just help to lay Obama in the white house and I happen to be of the opinion we MUST NOT let that happen.

Still I predict it will be one of the closest races ever when all is said and done. I expect it to boil down in the end to another squeaker for whichever of them wins. If Obama wins it will be because folks voted third party who otherwise would have voted McCain not Obama.

This is what I was trying to find out.  How many would be voting for Bob Barr.  I don't like McCain either, but it will be a vote against Obama.  I think Barr might hurt McCain.  Nadar might hurt Obama.  We just won a squeeker with this Supreme Court.  Who would Obama nominate?  McCain has already said he would only nominate those who would uphold the Constitution and not legislate from the bench.  I think McCain can win in the end if he doesn't put his foot in his mouth and gets a good running mate.  I do hope we put out some Dem's in congress and senate.

Barr and Nadar will be what kills McCain and plays into Obama's hands.

I will vote for John McCain. Votes for Ross Perot was the reason that we had Bill Clinton, and votes for a 3rd party candidate this time will cause us to endure Mr. Obama.

I really hope that McGore chooses someone for VP that I can support, because then I can at least console myself with the thought that I will actually be voting for the VP and not for McGore.  In reality there really  isn't any choice of who to vote for, for anyone who has more than just a brain stem.  Which brings the question: Who the hell voted for Obamanation?  Is someone trying to be funny, or is there a very dark force lurking amongst us.

I'm voting for Obama.  I don't like to be on a losing team...and that's just what it will be if you guys don't rally around ONE candidate on the Republican side.

In other news, John McCain announced today that he had chosen Ronald Reagan to share the ticket with him. Upon being reminded that the former President had passed some years ago, McCain became abusive, pushed over the podium, and began vowing revenge against Ho Chi Minh, whom he asserted was responsible for the demise of the iconic GOP figure.

Senator Joseph Lieberman came forward and calmed the Republican nominee by repeatedly engaging him in singing the chorus of the satirical tune, "Bomb Bomb Bomb--Bomb Bomb Iran".

The Presidential candidate was then lead to an awaiting limosine by Senators Lindsey Graham and Lieberman and rapidly driven away from the gathering.

The McCain campaign issued a short statement later in the day saying, "He'll get over it. He always does".

Well, it looks like about 10% are going with Barr on this Forum.  If this holds true nationwide among gun owners and hunters, then McCain may loose approximately 5% of the total vote he would have gotten without the Libertarian 3rd party cantidate.  This could very well throw the election to Obama, unless he looses the same percentage of vote to Nadar.  McCain will then have to go after Clinton supporters to win.
