Time to think about a shoot
« on: June 25, 2008, 03:18:33 PM »
Well guys , its about time to start thinking about a summer / fall - shoot / get together . I know that the price of gas is going to limit the amount of travel for some .

What would help would be some input on who would like to attend and what part of the state your in , this way we can find a place were no one has to drive too far and we can find a place with room  for everyone to shoot .

So chime in here guys .

I just gave up my sefl employment so blowing a day off work 2 weeks into a new job may be a challenge but I am willing to try!
Other than that Sat or Sun is easiest as I assume it is for most.
Made a Cabelas trip last evening... Dinner and 3 beers was the most expensive part.... I cannot believe how people love to go there and pay list price

Richard,

Weekends for me right now. As long as it isn't the weekend of Aug 9th it will be fine. That weekend a bunch of us are getting together to do a memorial service for the friends we have lost this last year. Lost another one today, Mike was home on leave and had a heart attack and dropped dead, 34 years in and one to go. He had only been home from the sand box for a little over two weeks, at least I got to see him the weekend he got home.

No problem buddy , I think I have a Red Ryder laying around here and maybe even a SPUD gun , and if you ask real nice you may even use the Reeders , both the 41GNR and 224GNR .  ;)

How does Sat July 26th work for everyone ? I'm going to wait for a few more days to decide on a location just to see who else may want to come if that's not a problem ?
