That looks like a nice all around package there.  Does the scope detach easily?   Nice set up.  I can think of lots uses for this.

I do not like the ,so called Quick Release  scope rings.I always have a screwdriver with me (SAK) so regular rings work for me.I know they may not hold zero, but that just means I have to reestablish zero again.
Darn I have to shoot more  ::)    thanks for the kind words.    Doug

I have never found any qd rings that truly return the gun to zero.  Some get close, and if that is enough then fine.  I have a need to know where my poi is, not where it was and it is within an inch.  Any time I take a scope off for any reason I need to shoot it prior to trusting it again.

Doug, I like the scope set up on the trapper.  Looks like my Marlin setup.  How's the BSA scope?  Looks like she's ready for her first date.  Are you using RL 15 in this one also?  Is that what you said in the 7-30 as well?  Sorry, the CRS kicked in hard again. ???  DP.

I know a lot of folks here have"issues:"with the BSA'a, this one works real well.I have gione to H322.It is Paco Kelly's fav for the 30-30 using 130 Gr Speer fn. I do use RL15 for my 173 gr FNGC.This thing shoots way better than I can.Hope to get out latter today for more range time. Yes RL15 was my fav for that 7X30.      Doug

You know...I've never quite been able to get up the nerve to put a scope on a trapper-length lever gun, but that's just me. That rig does look nice, though.

Canon 6: What size is the Limbsaver slip on recoil pad. I have a 94 AE Trapper and am having trouble finding a slip on as the 94 is a little short for me. Thanks

It is the medium.I cut the stock on my '94 and it is a little large, so with the standard length it should fit.  hth   Doug
