I have been riding motorcycles for 54 years on the road. Went off road twice not by choice. I do ride some back roads and have been known to go into a field or two. If I had a place to ride a 4 wheeler I would have one.

I have had a stroked out shovel and a mean Ironhead Sportster. Now have a '05 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Silverado sitting in the garage. Just don't have time to ride it much though. I prefer "unique" to "strange" or "weird" myself, although I have been described as all three and more before. Atlaw, I live about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Don't go up there very much though. Traffic is a pain!

My current ride

1977 Gold wing built into a bobber here , currently has a Wixon bros. full touring fairing on it. Suicide shift on the right side , Webber 32 34 carb mounted on the factory intake . Next summer it will be further modified with the shift moved to the left and the clutch moved for left foot operating , also a custom set of medium rise apes will replace the stock bars.

The rear fender has also been removed and a fabricated bobbed rear put in place of that one, a Custom tail , brake light with a chrome skull tag light is on the left side of the frame.

Harley's since 1978.. 8)   I once shot a spike buck in CT when I was a kid, had to throw it over the back seat of a Sportster to get it home.  Slug gun was in a home made scabbard.  What a site, and what a mess to my poor bike..

The bike in the photo I built 2 years ago.  Its a blast to ride, but I'm selling it this spring for a Road King.  I'm to old for a hardtail chopper....100 miles on these rutted roads, and I can barley walk when I get off.

I have a Polaris 300 ATV, bought it as a lawn mower!! Well, that's what my wife says I declared when i brought it home. It pulls a gang reel mower and a powered bush hog in the back yard, plus a trailer. Back yard is 17 acres so a ride on does not cut it (pun intended) .......It doubles as a hunting vehicle, very convenient. It has had more than a little blood spilled on it, great little thing. It is into it's 3rd hunting season, and it has proved very reliable to date. Anyone who has hunted the wilds of Royal Blue WMA would take reliable.
Just bought my first bike in the USA, moved here 5.5 years ago. This is the longest time I have been without a bike since I was 18. When I lived in England I rode 64 miles a day, every day to work in the West end of London. What did I buy here? Well, a 1985 CB450 for $500. It runs great and I am extremely happy. Wife is from Milwaukee and therefore a Harley fan, I didn't want a bike payment at this point in the economy and the Honda will serve me just fine.

I love my cruiser, but I would like an old school bar hopper.  Something solo Softail Dueceish with apes, etc.   ;D

I'm beginning to think I do need a 4 wheeler though.  I just can't carry deer ouit of the woods anymore.   :-[

My sig photo is my favorite ride. I have another old BMW my wife rides.  After owning and wrenching on BMWs for 35 years I sold off all my spair parts and all but one project bike. In the spring I may get one of them cruiser things to see if they can run for me. I don't ride much over 500 miles a day anymore.

If I had a place to ride one I would have a 4wheeler as they are fun and handy.

Other than my wife & grandkids, fine classic rifles, Sportsters, late 60s Triumphs/BSAs/Nortons, I have few weaknesses.

I have a Suzuki 250 4WD fourwheeler, and a Kawasaki 750 Brute Force.  I also have a Honda 250 Dirt Bike, that my son seems to ride more than I do.  Trying to find another street bike, looking for a Goldwing.  My last street bike hit a Horse at 90 MPH.  Killed both the Horse and the thief that stole the bike.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
