This gun and BH 209 were made for each other. First trip to the range with the Triumph and BH 209. Starting load was 80 grs of BH 209, 210 gr speer gold dot 44 bullet, crush rib sabot and CCI 209 primer. After scope was sighted in it is shooting 2" groups @ 100 yds. After various bullet weights and different sabots this combination seems to be what it likes best. Will have to play with different powder grs to see if groups tighten up. Will have to say it is a joy to go to the range and bang away without having to clean between shots. Although IMHO accuracy was a tad better cleaning between shots though. My first hunting shot is always on a clean barrel, so I did test for that. One thing I did find is the Triumph will NOT load Barnes MZ sabots, had to pull the plug and push it back out, all others went down fine. To sum it up, I am very satisfied with the Triumph and Blackhorn 209 powder, both are worth the price IMO.
