International Clays in Handgun Loads
« on: July 04, 2008, 09:26:23 AM »
I have two or three pounds of International Clays left over from a brief attempt at trapshooting and at the price of gunpowder these days I hate to see it go to waste. I know these powders have been discussed here before but  I need to find some loads for International. I am finding loads for Clays and Universal but not for International except for the 9MM, .38 Special and .45 ACP loads listed on the container. I'm hoping I can use it in .44 Special, .44-40, and .45 Colt. The on-line Hodgdon burn rate chart puts it somewhere between Bullseye and 231. All advice appreciated.

I've loaded some 45 Colt with International Clays and was fairly happy. Light load, little recoil and good accuracy.
