Remington Accutip componant bullets
« on: July 04, 2008, 03:54:36 PM »
I see that Midway will soon be offering Accutip component bullets at a reasonable cost. I was looking at .308 caliber at 165 grains and they are cheaper than Corelokts. Anyone have any experience with these? Second hand info? Rumors?

Do you suppose Remington is going to discontinue the accutip bullet?  Seems odd that it would be lower than the Corelokt.  Probably a good deal.

If they are a decent bullet I am tempted to buy a quantity before bullet prices go up again, I just don't know anything about them.

I see they are also planning on offering .277 caliber at 130 grains in the Accutip @ $15.79, again cheaper than Corelokts. Since I have semi-autos in these calibers, with huge appetites, I am tempted.
